Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) offers a PhD programme in Geoinformatics for Disaster Risk Management developed under the DIGIHAZ Programme, a project funded by DAAD (Germany) and NUFFIC (the Netherlands).
🌏 About the Ph.D. Programme
This international programme strengthens collaboration between EU and ASEAN universities, with a strong focus on the application of GIS, remote sensing, and geospatial technologies for disaster risk management and climate resilience.
🎯 Who should apply?
Graduates in geography, geoinformatics, environmental science, engineering, computer science, climate science, hydrology, or related fields who have a strong interest in disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation.
