A working meeting of the GeoDRR Project Managers was held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 9:00 am. The main reason for this earlier-than-usual meeting was the first drafts of the October 2024 meeting at UUM in Malaysia and the trips/holiday time in Europe in the last week of March.
Of course, there is still time until the meeting in Malaysia,
but as today’s discussions demonstrated, the original timetable is already being revised.
In addition to this topic, bilateral meetings on March 25 and 26 with Project Managers from 6 South Asian universities have been pre-arranged.
Regardless of today’s discussions, the primary task remains to get the GeoDRR studies off to a good start.
It was good to meet together, even if it was only an online meeting.
