This week, the University of Alicante is hosting an exciting Educational Workshop under the Erasmus+ geoDRR (Geomatics for Disaster Risk Reduction) program. Bringing together participants from different countries, this activity aimed to provide academic, administrative and technical staff from HEIs in partner countries with the necessary knowledge, skills and competences to effectively undertake the development of the MTP in their institutions..
Our project recognizes the importance of equipping staff in partner country HEIs with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively deliver the MTP program. Through tailored capacity building activities, including study visits and on-site training, staff will gain expertise in MTP issues, teaching methods and use of digital tools. These activities promote knowledge transfer and ensure a high-quality learning experience for students. .
The Educational Training started with a warm welcome from the training hosts and the project coordinator. The day continued with an engaging series of lectures, workshops and practical sessions led by renowned practitioners and researchers in the field of geomatics.
