The monthly meeting of GeoDRR Project Managers was held today, 9:00 am CET.

It was a bit shorter than usual. Next week, bilateral meetings will be held to progress the Project individually.

The mood was more optimistic, especially after this morning’s publication of an advertisement for GeoDRR Studies at USM MY and generally good feelings after the EACEA Inspector’s visit for “Field monitoring” at USM MY.

It’s still too early for celebrations, fanfare and fireworks displays. There’s still a few months of hard work ahead.

I appreciate more and more the support of Partners, both Asian and European. Time and distance – these are the main challenges.
