Breaking New Ground: Xavier Ateneo presents Geomatics for Disaster Risk Reduction (GeoDRR) at 1st International Student Symposium

The 1st International Student Symposium on Selected Problems of Geomatics for Disaster Risk Reduction (ISSGeoDRR), a key event in the academic calendar of the Erasmus+ CBHE project Geomatics for Disaster Risk Reduction (GeoDRR), gathered professors, student researchers and scholars from Asia for a one-day exchange of research and innovative ideas. Hosted by the Silesian University of Technology and moderated by GeoDRR project leader Professor Krzysztof Tomiczek, PhD, the event aimed to enhance collaboration among young researchers and broaden the application of geomatics in addressing disaster risks. #XavierAteneo is set to be a forefront institution to deliver the first Geomatics for DRR graduate program in the Philippines.
