GeoDRR news. Since 2023, international PBL student projects have been implemented 
at the Silesian University of Technology Politechnika ΕlΔ
ska, including those related to Disaster Risk Reduction topics, as an addition / complement to the Geomatics Disaster Risk Reduction (GeoDRR) Project,
under the coordination of PhD Krzysztof Tomiczek, Assit. Prof. at SUT. So far, these projects have included interesting topics of: landslides, earth structures subjected to seismic impulse, slope and slope stability.
From 10.2025, two more PBL projects will be conducted with students from Poland
and Malaysia
(SUT PL, USM MY and UUM MY). These projects will be: βGeospatial data analysis in diagnostic applications for disaster land managementβ and βPractical use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in research, analysis and management of the consequences of natural disasters […]β.
The list of participants is closed,
but it is possible, as always, to participate as free listeners.
