The MSGeoDRR co-developed through the ERASMUS CBHE+ fully complied with the CHED Technical Panel review conducted September 9-10, 2024. The proposed program received a full compliance finding immediately during the second day of the visit.

Th CHED technical panel were composed of UP Professor Emeritus Dr. Rex Victor O. Cruz, and Professor an UP Scientist Dr. Maria Victoria O. Espaldon who were former Chancellor and Vice Chancellor respectively of UPLB. The event was also attended by education program specialists from CHED CAR: Dr. Patricio Dinamling and Engr. Abraham Os-osa along with CHED National program coordinator Dr. Remedios Talingdan. UC demonstrated its reputation in the area of geomatics and research, adequate facilities and research laboratories, faculty qualifications, and strong network with stakeholders and partners.

The UC MSGeoDRR team present was composed of: Dr. Nancy Flores (UC President), Dr. Ariel Pumecha (UC VP for Academics and Research), Program Leader Dr. Nathaniel Vincent A. Lubrica, (Executive Director – RSO), Engr. Dexter Hansel Apnoyan (Dean, CEA), Dr. Jeffrey Ingosan (Dean, CITCS), Engr. Sean Empizo (Researcher, RSO), Carlo Jay Valdez (GIS Project Coordinator, RSO), and Megan Nabua (Statistician, RSO).
